The Innovation Spectrum

Workshops

We offer a variety of in-person and virtual active learning workshops where educators are encouraged to share ideas and practice new skills in a hands-on, real-world setting.

    Why Workshops?

    • Allow for members of a school community to come together and share best practices in a controlled environment.

    Our Approach

    • We strive for a balance of theory, reflection, and actionable techniques/strategies to be brought back to te classroom.
    • Participants remain active throughout our sessions and engage in multiple collaborative opportunities as well as individual reflection and planning.
    • Content is based on most current research and offers innovative, thoughtful ideas to promote equity in dynamic learning environments.

What Our Partners Are Saying About Workshops

Thank you for the wonderful workshop! We were so pleased with the turnout and are hopeful this is a step in the right direction.

The workshop challenged us to reevaluate assumptions and gain new perspectives on success and risk.

The workshop helped me to ask myself how well do I really know my students and what strategies can I use to further ensure their success.

The workshop helped me become better advocates for students, families, and teachers.

I appreciated the idea of being able to train my body to respond to stress in a more productive way. I also plan to use more “what” questions with my students when trying to get to the bottom of what they’re experiencing.

The workshop provided creative ideas to implement in my teaching.

The workshop provided insights into empowering students to be leaders of their lives.

The workshop motivated me to change and improve the way I present my lessons to my students.

The workshop motivated me to think positively and use affirmations with both myself and students.

The workshop helped me realize that differentiation is not as challenging as some may think. We have to first change the mindset that all students must be doing the same thing at the same time.
