Just because we live in America, doesn’t mean that we should be ignorant of other cultures. Particularly when you consider that many of the morals and beliefs upon which America stands today have been acquired through lessons learned from the British. Today’s technology allows the classroom to expand far beyond its four walls. And though you may still wish to take your students on a field trip, with technology, the field trip can come to you. You can talk to people on the other side of the earth, walk through the center of a busy British metropolis, relive non-fictional historical stories and hear about British folklore and tales.
