| Description, Learning Objective: | Students research an animal and create a PowerPoint presentation. This lesson plan is coordinated with class discussion before and after the activity. The lesson may be integrated with report writing and/or videos and field trips. | |
| Procedure: | The class goal is to create an exhibit for the Bronx Zoo that will be presented to visitors. To do this Students will 1) Select an animal to research. 2) Research the animal using several animal links. 3) Create a 7 slide presentation: Four slides that answer specific questions about: Description/Classification, Habitat, Adaptation, and Survival. One slide each for an Introduction, Title Slide, and Conclusion. 4) Present final projects to the class. |
